Our New Year’s Resolution!

January 5th, 2012 Written By Carol Pawley

With 2011 behind us it’s time for a fresh start! As we head into 2012 we’ve begun to plan changes and improvements for this blog. Here’s what we have in store:

The Introduction of Video in 2012

In a fast paced multi media world the possibilities are endless. To kick off a new habit we’ve staring small with video tours of neighborhoods and unique homes in and around Coral Gables, Coconut Grove and South Miami area. Our city has a lot to offer and this year, rather than simply telling you about it, we’d like to show you.

In response to frequent questions on the real estate market we’ve also working on bringing you the facts. For 2012 we want to keep you informed on the constantly changing real estate market by including video market updates, many of which are done by our President of EWM Ron Shuffield. The South Florida market is unlike any other in the nation and half the challenge, whether you’re selling, buying or just curious is staying informed.

Adding a Little Statistics to the Mix

In tune with keeping our readers informed we’re working on putting together blog updates on the local market specific to area and neighborhood. This includes new listings available, properties have recently been sold and what properties are selling for. Also, considering the differences between single family houses and condos, we’re breaking down the information into housing type as well as location. To make things interesting we’re including:

-Graphics

-Pictures

-Data

Featuring

Over the years we’ve learned that there are a lot of unique homes and enclaves in the Coral Gables and Grove areas and we’d like to spotlight them. Our “Featured Homes” blog is a serial entry we’re introducing to cover these unique wonders.

In keeping with our current  theme we’re adding more information on local Coral Gables and Coconut Grove living, including info on:

-Festivals

-Restaurants

-Schools

-Historic Gables/Grove

-Activities

Socail Media

We can’t ignore the social media revolution! We plan to increase the amount of information on local events we post. If you haven’t Liked us already check us out for daily tips on what’s going on in South Florida on our Miami Real and Beyond Facebook Page.
