The Coral Gables Farmers Market is Back

On Saturday January 12, 2013 the Coral Gables Farmers Market will start its 22nd season. More than 60 vendors will be selling an array of farm-fresh products, artisan foods, flowers, spices, tea & more.  The market is from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. in front of City Hall, 405 Biltmore Way (between Miracle Mile & LeJune Rd), every Saturday until March 23, 2013. 

This Saturday at 8 a.m. there will be a free tai chi class, gardening class at 9 a.m., a cooking demonstration at 10 a.m. with children’s activities beginning at 11 a.m. & live music.

Coral Gables December 2012 Sales

In the month of December there were 39 homes that sold in Coral Gables, less than the previous month. The average price per sqft slightly increased from $317 to $318. Here are some key statistics for the month of December and a list of what sold.

Coral Gables 2012 Single Family Homes Wrap Up

Coral Gables saw a significant increase in market activity for 2012. 52 more homes sold in 2012 than in 2011 & an increase in the total amount sold by $142,988,804. Here’s to an even better year in 2012.

The Junior Orange Bowl Parade December 31, 2012

The Junior Orange Bowl Parade is a 64-year tradition in South Florida created especially for the kids — and perfect for families. Featuring a vivid arrangement of marching bands, colorful floats, community groups and creative parade units, this Junior Orange Bowl Parade is a dazzling spectacle that is not to be missed and certainly won’t be forgotten.

Merrick Manor Will Now Be A Condo Tower

Merrick Manor will be located at 4133 Le June Rd adjacent from Merrick Park.
